Lay off @ Rambus?????????????????
I had a hectic and interesting day today. I am about to leave for home, happily after completing todays work. I received weekly Linkedn update. In Linkedn, I have all all Rambus Employees. Working in Rambus had been and always the life time experience for me. I had so much work, so much fun. I never felt, I am working for somebody. It’s a great and dream place to work. Browsing through the other news of Rambus, specially the financial issues it had last year, Suddenly I saw heading Rambus To Cut 21 Percent Of Headcount – SoftwareJobs.com
At the initial look, I though it’s kind of ad and just a website to generate traffic. When I click and saw,, ,,oh!!! NO. I am still shocked to see the news and I don’t know how to express. When I read this on web, I did not care much. I thought wherever layoff might happen, in Rambus. NO WAY AT ALL. It is and will be an Employee Friendly Company.
I don’t know the reason, why and how it happened. Personally for me, today is a bad and shocking news.
Ok..let me recover from the shocking news. I will go home and take deep rest for today. I am reminded one of the phrase I read in Rambus.
Change is the only thing that is constant.
