Generally Rajahamsa buses are not so bad. It could be your bad luck that time. I have seen curtains in Rajahamsa, no such water leakages inside.
You should travel in Kerala RTC, may be you will not find same problems, but certainly you will have to donate some blood to bugs!

Bus journey will consume lot of time and energy. After buying bike i have forgotten when i travelled in bus.
Of course when it rains bus travel too become really horrible.
